The Lab gave me a new focus and community - and ultimately changed my life! Through this Lab I wrote my first draft of Ramona at Midlife. I developed my film in Generators with JSFL Alumni, together we shot a key scene over Zoom, and the film stars another JSFL Alumni, Josh Radnor! My film world premiered at the 2023 Heartland International Film Festival (named one of the top 25 coolest festivals in the world by MovieMaker magazine) and won multiple awards at Festivals, including Audience Choice, Best Ensemble and Outstanding Directorial Debut!
